tepid
almost cold: used especially of liquids(尤指液体)温热的,微热的:

lukewarm

sweltering

boiling (hot)
very hot in a way that is unpleasant or uncomfortable. Also used for referring to the temperature of a liquid when it stars to bubble 极热的,炎热的(亦指液体达到沸点的):

◆ Plunge the pasta into boiling water. 把意大利面放入沸水中。

scalding (hot)
hot enough to burn your skin, used for referring to the temperature of liquids (液体)滚烫的,灼热的:
◆ The bath water was scalding hot. 洗澡水是滚烫的。

roasting
extremely hot: used especially for referring to the temperature inside a place rather than outside (尤指某场所里的温度)酷热的,非常热的:
◆ Phew! It’s roasting in here! 呦!这里面热死了!

baking
very hot and dry 灼热的;干热的:
◆ the baking heat of the afternoon sun 午后的炎炎烈日
